Re://Adventures Team Building
Teams are built from roles before units. Cover the four slots, spend in order, and leave the bench short.
Every wave in Re://Adventures is a mix of clear, tanky and boss-like threats. A team that only does one thing gets stuck at the same wall every run. Covering four roles first — then upgrading them — is the reliable way to build. Start from the Units page and read the role table before spending anything.
The four roles to cover
| Role | What it does | Why the team needs it |
|---|---|---|
| Physical | Front-line damage against normal waves | The default answer to wave clear |
| Magic | AoE and burst damage | Answers grouped threats and armored moments |
| Support | Heals, buffs and utility | Keeps the run alive through mistakes |
| Economy | Income and cost control | Funds the upgrades that finish runs |
Building on a budget
- One unit per role first — a four-role skeleton beats three strong units of the same role.
- Raise the weakest link — upgrade the role that makes runs fail, not the role you like.
- Keep traits aligned — a trait that fits the role is worth more than a rare trait that fights it. Trait rules
- Expand only after consistency — add a second physical or a flex unit only when the skeleton clears reliably.
Common mistakes
- Three damage units and no economy — the run stalls because upgrades never arrive.
- Saving every token for one “ideal” unit — the bench stays weak while the star under-performs its hype.
- Copying a team from a different game — Anime Adventures or other “Re:” titles are not the same experience.
FAQ
FAQ
Common questions about this topic.
How many units should my team have?
Cover four roles (physical, magic, support, economy) first; add flex units after the skeleton is consistent.
Which role is most important?
The weakest one in your runs. Upgrade what makes waves fail, not what looks impressive.
Can I skip support or economy?
You can, but teams that skip either tend to stall — support absorbs mistakes, economy funds upgrades.
